As you know, in Crece we love everything related to the graphic design, and we have done some typography projects, like the Mayus Minus. That’s why we are going to show you these typography games that are very instructive and playful.
- Type Connection. For some time, apps to find a couple are trendy, and Type Connection is about this. Just that this time, typographies are matched. From some informations and quizzes, the game gives you advice about possible combinations of typographies and how they work. You’ve got a font. Will you be able to find its ideal partner?
- Kern Type. To the space between two letters in a typography is known as kerning. If you’ve got experience in the graphic design field, you’ll know that when two letters are badly separated it looks really bad. This game helps you to practice and detect it: two letters, one by the other, with an objective: to establish the correct kerning.
- Shape Type. Like other typography games like the Kern Type, in this case you have to rebuild letters. One tool pretty similar to the Feather in Photoshop will help you to model the presented letters until they seem correct to you. Then, you can send them and discover if you’ve been close to the original letter by the similarity percentage.
